These Terms of Service govern any project, retainer, or one-off engagement between Serene ("we", "us", "our") and a client ("you") for web development, SEO, branding, social media management, Google Business Profile optimisation, or paid ads management. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
The scope of work for any project is confirmed in writing — by email or a signed proposal — before work begins. Any additional work outside that agreed scope will be quoted separately before we start on it.
Payment terms (deposit, milestones, or monthly retainer) are set out in the proposal or invoice for each project. Work may pause if an invoice remains unpaid beyond the agreed due date, and we will notify you before doing so.
Once a project is paid in full, ownership of the final deliverables (website files, designs, ad creatives, and similar assets we created for you) transfers to you. We may retain copies for our own records and portfolio purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.
Where a project includes unlimited revisions, this refers to revisions within the originally agreed scope and creative direction. A change in direction, added pages, or new deliverables outside that scope is treated as new work and quoted separately.
We aim to deliver reliable, high-quality work, but we cannot guarantee specific business outcomes (such as search rankings, ad performance, or follower growth), since these depend on factors outside our control. Our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
Where our work involves third-party platforms (Google, Meta, hosting providers, etc.), your use of those platforms is also subject to their own terms of service, which are outside our control.
Either party may end an ongoing engagement with written notice, as specified in the relevant proposal. You remain responsible for payment for work completed up to the date of termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi.
